Agribase is an Early stage startup that promotes online courses for agronomists and farmers in Latin America.
My partner called me on a Friday with an idea to launch a startup. But it wasn’t clear what he really intended to do. With no idea of price, product or marketing strategy, I needed to begin from scratch.
As a growth marketer, I started investigating the market and looking for solutions that were already being marketed.
At the time there was no competition for the product, which may be a sign that there is no demand. to my surprise I did a Google trends search, keywords using Semrush, book reviews and reviews, and interview with a small email base. I also did a competitive analysis of the main players in the market to understand what the sales funnel and acquisition channels were like.
So these were my actions:
